Sept. 25, 2008  "Hawk-Eyes on Science" presenting Astronomy to the 5th grade at Roosevelt School, Iowa City.  Dale Stille, Mark Gorski, and Oren Rabinovich presiding.  Organized by Maura Quaintance from Roosevelt School.


October 8, 2008 Professor John Goree visited Ernest Horn Elementary, in Iowa City Iowa. In this school, students in 5th and 6th grade are combined for their science class. The students had recently completed their "floating and sinking" science unit, which emphasized ideas of buoyancy and weight of objects in water. Abstract.
