January 16, 2014   Hawk-Eyes on Science.  Vincent Rodgers and Dale Stille give a physics demonstration show to the students of Smart Intermediate School in Davenport, IA.  Natalie Rush coordinating.

February 1, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science expose students to the fields of science and technology during the Science Expo from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Bettendorf Middle School, in Bettendorf, IA.  Coordinated by Betsy Romano and Kristine Bullock. 

February 6, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science present for the students from 2:15 - 3:15 pm in Willowwind School in Iowa City, IA.  James Wetzel coordinating. 

February 11, 2014   Hawk-Eyes on Science to present at Riverdale Heights Elementary school in Bettendorf, IA.  3 to 4 pm.

February 27, 2014   Hawk-Eyes in Space. George Hospodarsky speaks to 5th graders and teachers at Mt. Vernon Middle School about space and space physics at Iowa.

March 8, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science presents electricity and magnetism demonstrations for the Girl Scouts at The RiverCenter in Davenport, IA.  Kristine Bullock coordinating.

March 13, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science give a presentation and tours of Van Allen Hall for high school students in the LEAD program.  Erin Doppelt coordinating.

March 27, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science present for the students from 2:15 - 3:15 pm in Willowwind School in Iowa City, IA.  James Wetzel coordinating.

April 4, 2014 Hawk-Eyes in Space. George Hospodarsky gives three presentations at the Alburnett Elementary Career Enrichment Day.  Discussion included being a space physicists, Professor Van Allen, Space Physics at the University, Van Allen Probes, Juno, Cassini, Polar, Cluster, Voyager, Galileo, Mars Express, and more.   

April 8, 2014  Hawk-Eyes in Space and Hawk-Eyes on Science present at Van Allen Science Night for Van Allen Elementary, 6-7:30 pm and showed models of the Van Allen Probes Spacecraft and Voyager. 

April 10, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science, Hawk-Eyes in Space, and project HOPE present in room 361 Van Allen All with students from Columbus Junction constructing robots.  Two sessions will be held from 9:45 - 11:10 and 11:50 to 1:15. Picture Set 2

April 12, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science present for the Family Stem Festival in Dubuque, IA from 10 am - 2 pm at the Grand River Center.

April 17, 2014  Cafe Scientifique    Catherine Whiting presents Black Holes at the  High Ground Cafe, 5:00 - 6:00 pm. 

April 22, 2014 Hawk-Eyes on Science present  for the 2014 Pen Pal Participants from West Liberty in room 309 VAN in two sessions, one from 9:30-10:20 and 10:30-11:20 am and the other from 10:30-11:20 am.

April 23, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science equipment was loaned to College of Education student James Schwalm for teaching the physics of color, light, and waves. 

April 26, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science present at the Southeast IA STEM Festival from 10-2:00 at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington. 

May 3, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science present at the Father-Son Breakfast for Mu Chi Lambda Chapter of Alphi Phi Alphu at 7:30 am.

August 21, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science present to middle school students from Edison Jr. High in Rock Island, IL at 2:45 pm.  Katie Harfst coordinating. 

August 22, 2014  Fred Skiff and several students presented demonstrations of plates and magnets, solar cells, hand battery, color addition, chaos pendulum and ferromagnetic fluids while representing the department at the CLAS open house.

October 8, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science present to John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, IA. Sebastian De Pascuale talked about his research and discussed how he has found his continuing passion for space in the sciences as he meet new mentors and encounter new problems to work on.

October 21, 2014  Hawk-Eyes in Space present to the preschoolers at Little Angles Learning Center in Iowa City, IA on their unit of Space.  Deidra coordinating.

October 24, 2014  Hawk-Eyes on Science present at the University of Iowa's Creepy Campus Crawl from 6:30-8:30.  Joe Sink and SPS Members coordinating. Volunteers include Ted Schultz, Thomas Rodgers, Thomas Peterson, Joe Sink, Phil Kaaret, and Ross McCurdy. 

October 24, 2014  Hawk-Eyes in Space Craig Kletzing presents as the plenary speaker at the IAAPT joint meeting between Iowa and Illinois at 7 pm about the Van Allen Probes and the data we are receiving from them. Demonstrations show include Loop and Galvanometer (Faraday's Law), radio transformer in a Faraday's cage, copper plate and magnet, and radio in a Faraday's cage.  Picture Set 2
